Cultural Intelligence and Modern Management
Cultural Intelligence and Modern Management

An executive seminar in the SMART Learning series
(Synergistic, Motivational, Achievement-oriented, Rapid, Technology powered Learning)

The future of successful Business development lies in expanding internationally.

Emerging, newly industrialised countries such as China and India are playing an important part in new business development. With new developments in infrastructure and economical improvements, emerging countries are the place to be.
However, how can German companies be successful in those countries? How can they create demand and sell their services or products effectively abroad and build up new sustainable networks?

In order to keep ahead of competitors and to ensure a place in the international market it is vital to understand the foreign markets and the potential customers. Communication is an important tool throughout the whole process. A lot of businesses fail due to misunderstanding, misinterpretation and lack of knowledge about the other culture.
In order to avoid this and set up a successful business abroad it is first of all necessary to acquaint oneself with country and culture knowledge and understand it. Seeing things from the other person’s perspective and accepting it can be of great benefit to the business. There is more than one right way of seeing and dealing with issues.

The Cultural Intelligence and Modern Management presentation is divided into six parts:

  1. Knowing Self and Others
  2. Cultural Diversity
  3. Organisational Culture
  4. Management Models
  5. Balancing Your Life and Business Wheels
